What lifters keep asking for. What we built.

Log sets in seconds.

One tap to check off a set. Edit load on the fly. Auto-fill from your last session. Between sets is rest time, not navigation time.

Bring any program.

Paste a spreadsheet, type it in your own words, or use our training syntax for precision. However you describe it, the AI reads it and builds your full plan. No forms. No configuration screens. Just describe and go.

Track every PR.

Top set evolution, estimated 1RM, volume analysis. Automatic PR detection — discreet, no confetti. Just your numbers over time.

Every session, remembered.

Add notes to any exercise or to the session itself — they stay with the entry and resurface when you need them. Your full training history, searchable and exportable. CSV export anytime. iCloud sync. Your data, your rules.

Common questions

What lifters ask before buying.

What is Logbook?

Logbook is an iPhone app for logging strength training. It is built for lifters who follow a structured program and want their workouts on a notebook-style log. No social feeds, no AI coach, no monthly subscription. One purchase, lifetime access.

How do I bring my own program into Logbook?

Three paths, all in the same import sheet. Paste anything (a coach's email, a screenshot of a PDF, a spreadsheet) and Logbook structures it for you. Dictate the block in your own words. Or write it in Logbook Notation — a small, readable syntax for sets, reps, RPE, percent of 1RM, and per-week prescriptions.

How much does Logbook cost?

$49.99 once. No subscription. Seven-day free trial. Every feature is included on day one and stays included. We will not paywall existing features later.

Does Logbook work offline?

Yes. The app is offline-first. Log sets, edit loads, finish a session with no signal. iCloud sync runs in the background when you are back online so your history stays on every device you own.

How does Logbook track PRs and progress?

PRs are detected automatically as you log sets — no confetti, no badges. The Progress view tracks top-set evolution, estimated 1RM, and volume per exercise over time. Tap any data point to jump back to the session that produced it.

Does Logbook support RPE and percent of 1RM?

Both. Write @8 for RPE 8, @75% for 75% of 1RM, or a literal weight like 100kg. Mix them freely across exercises. RPE and percent are intent — the lifter chooses the bar at session time.

Can I export my data?

Yes. CSV export of your full session history, anytime, from Settings. Your data is yours. We do not lock it in.

Is Logbook for powerlifting, bodybuilding, or both?

Both, plus general strength work. The structure (workouts, exercises, sets) is universal. If you follow 5/3/1, nSuns, a hypertrophy block, a peaking program, or a custom plan from a coach, it fits.

Does Logbook have a social feed or community?

No. No feeds, no followers, no sharing prompts. The app is a private training notebook.

What devices does Logbook support?

iPhone, on iOS 17 or later. iPad runs the iPhone build. No Android or web client today.

Finally, an app that gets out of the way.

One payment. No subscriptions. No features pulled behind a paywall later.
